This Stunner is Hacksaw Ridge, a beautifully built 16.2h 4 year old son of Street Sense out of a Jump Start mare.
Hacksaw Ridge is quite the sporthorse prospect! Teddy is young, clean, and ready to go any direction you point him in. This guy has a great personality, loves his cuddles, and is happy to meet you at the gate. He has lovely ground manners, stands in cross ties, clips, good for the farrier and vet and will load right up in your trailer.
Teddy is bred to the hilt for sport being a son of the great Street Sense as well as who doesn’t love seeing Jump Start on the mare side?
Hacksaw Ridge only ran a handful of times and showed that racing was not his thing. He retired sound and injury free as a 3 year old and has been in my program for about 8 months or so. Teddy has grown inches since I got him and has filled out beautifully!
This talented individual has been produced slowly and correctly. Teddy has a great powerful canter. He has shown he can lengthen and shorten easily with good balance. Teddy has learned to step up in front of your leg to the bridle and carries a nice shape, bend and move his rib cage around your inside leg and has solid transitions.
We have started Teddy over fences and he is showing to be smart, brave and willing with great form. The sky is the limit with this one and he would do great in any discipline you choose.
