Hacksaw Ridge

They just don’t come much nicer than this guy!

Dreamy is the word that pops into my brain when I think about this horse.

Hacksaw Ridge is a 16.1h big bodied uphill 3 year old gelding by Street Sense out of a Jump Start mare.

This 180,000 dollar baby didn’t show any speed in his 5 starts as a racehorse, so now he’s looking for a Sporthorse career instead.

Boy is he bred to be a nice Sporthorse! Teddy has perfect legs and feet with stunning uphill conformation. This guy has 3 balanced gaits with a canter that….is…..well DREAMY!

This guy of course has brains to match especially with that breeding. Super Quiet uncomplicated snaffle ride. This 3 year old showed up on a Sunday afternoon and moved right in with the grace and attitude usually reserved for horses twice his age. He stood quietly in my cross ties the very next day and rode around like a professional. Good boy gelding and Boyfriend horse are terms I would use for this one.

Incredible ground manners complete this package. Teddy is very ammy junior friendly as long as he is in a good program or something super uncomplicated and fun for an experienced rider to bring along. No limitations with this guy. Teddy would fit well in any ring.
