Hacksaw Ridge

This Stunner is Hacksaw Ridge, a beautifully built 16.2h 4 year old son of Street Sense out of a Jump Start mare.

Hacksaw Ridge is quite the sporthorse prospect! Teddy is young, clean, and ready to go any direction you point him in. This guy has a great personality, loves his cuddles, and is happy to meet you at the gate. He has lovely ground manners, stands in cross ties, clips, good for the farrier and vet and will load right up in your trailer.

Teddy is bred to the hilt for sport being a son of the great Street Sense as well as who doesn’t love seeing Jump Start on the mare side?

Hacksaw Ridge only ran a handful of times and showed that racing was not his thing. He retired sound and injury free as a 3 year old and has been in my program for about 6 months or so. Teddy has grown inches in the last 6 months and has filled out beautifully!

This beautifully boy boasts 3 big balanced gaits and can be quite a lot of horse. Teddy would love an upper level type home where all his talent can be utilized. We have started him over fences and he is showing to be quite brave and willing. I see him doing very well in Eventing, Fox hunting, Dressage or the Jumper ring.

Teddy has his own engine and goes nicely in a snaffle. He accepts your leg well and is learning to stay in front of it and soften and bend through his body. He is not spooky or anxious and in fact has a great brain.
