Doc Jordan

This beautiful boy is a solid warmblood imposter looking thoroughbred gelding. Doc is about 16.2h plus 8 year old with just enough chrome. Doc has all the personality in the world and is definitely a one person horse. If your his person though, he will be your horse of a lifetime. Doc has 3 lovely uphill gaits and he’s quite floaty. This guy loves to jump and is quite good at it. He is very brave and pretty much jumps anything. He has been cross country schooling and has been schooling at some overnight events but hasn’t started his show career yet. He trailers well and goes places well. He stands tied to the trailer and is pretty much the same horse at shows as at home. Doc is a very sensitive emotional ride and needs an experienced rider that understands this ride. He is not spooky or naughty at all. He will however get very hot and flighty if you are unbalanced and overwhelm him. With that being said I have been able to give some lessons on him. I have him working successfully from leg to hand correctly all 3 gaits and he’s got an amazing canter. He does get strong at times in the canter if he looses his balance and he can be tricky to get the right lead although that gets better everyday. Doc can get strong jumping in the canter but trots anything beautifully. He is just green and learning. Doc is sound but doesn’t have perfectly clean x-rays but he doesn’t know that. I am more interested in a good match than the price. Low fours to the right person. x-rays available to interested parties.
