Colleen Sold

Colleen is a 15.2h 8 year old Appendix mare.

This pretty girl has 3 seasons of foxhunting experience all 3 flights with Caroline Hunt, Princess Anne Hunt, and Deep Run Hunt. Most of her experience is 2nd flight with her gutsy junior rider. She is incredibly fun to hunt and knows her job. She is one of the most balanced and sure footed horses I have ever hunted. Colleen gave my working student her first amazing hunting experience this season and now has her addicted.

Outside of Foxhunting, this mare has done a ton of Hunter Paces and Group trail rides. Colleen is really fun to ride and would also be a fun low level eventer and or make a great Pony Club or 4H mount while not hunting.

Colleen is actually quite talented at jumping and all of my girls have enjoyed riding her. Colleen is brave and loves jumping and definitely wants to get to the other side. She is schooled up to 2’6 with scope for more. She loves you to put your leg on her and ride her into the base of the jump.

Colleen enjoys a rider with a good seat and balance with light hands. She is incredibly comfortable and loves to be ridden on a lighter contact. She goes easily in a snaffle with her own motor and easy brakes. Colleen is not spooky and hacks ALONE or in a group.

This girl is sound with clean legs and should pass a PPE. No vices and is a very easy keeper.
